i noticed a gold colored vein on those rocks is it some form of copper or gold?

Unfortunately, it's just a yellow moss.

It only looks like it is a few feet deep? Even before trying to stand in it if that is true I would tie off to something stable just incase the floor gives out (maybe the bumper of your truck), possibly peek around in it with a nice LED flashlight before if you can too lol.  Bats and animals don't scare me but their feces does =P

You are right. Now all the wells covered with ground and stones.

Good grief Antony 500ft, I dont know where your gonna find a shovel with a handle that long on it, not only that I'd hate to come across the guy who could use it,

Nice finds mate now you have to find out what they are so you can tell us all, WTG

Thank you! I am sure that this place really was hidden treasures. On the map in 1812, the village was noted. And in this map indicated surprising number of households. Only eight. On the second map of the late 19th century, this village is marked as looting and destruction. The main questions when and who plundered these settlements? And where people could hide their savings? Theoretically for these purposes, they could use these wells.
Most dungeons here have been cut in the rock (which is why they survived). I counted more than ten such wells ... Moreover this settlement was built on the bank of a dry river bed. Therefore, the relief of the bank is very diverse. Most were small caves in the rock, where they could hide something. Unfortunately, all of this area can not be investigated in isolation.

hey,

I am new here but I have already have experience in gold mining somewhere here in the Philippines., If that white colored rock is really a rock, it might be a hi grade vein. I suggest to you sir, that you get a random sample of that rock and bring them to lab for and assay...

How I wish i can have that Detecting Gadget so I can also find some good found. ..
