NOT today's finds.

I actually found these weeks ago, but within ten minutes of each other and in my front yard. Next time I will do a before and after, but for now I can just say that I am a true believer in using olive oil for bringing pennies to life. (after destroying some nice finds using other methods) Thanks to whoever it was that brought this method to my attention.

Cant quite tell but it appears to be a 43 and 44? Maybe its a 48 cause if its a 43 and it looks to be copper you would be doing some serious dancing Grin
I hit an old site the other day and only came away with pennies  Sad after I got home and washed off the dirt I noticed I got a 1916 d and a 1919. Gonna have to hit that site up again after the rain soaks in some more.

Continue to search for in your front yard. You might find something else. Happy hunting!

Thanks Caleb, I need to do better at my photography. it is 44 and 45. Believe me I did keep looking for the 43 for a matched set Grin After all, I think it could command a price in the lower 6 figures. On the 1943 the '3' has a long tail that is a teller for  forgery.
