Guys thank you for commenting, there is more debriefing here. one of the rings is engraved 3/9/1943 If you look it up in Google it is an historical date full of military operations. Apparently belonged to a survivor of that day. It was found in a beach of a military resort installation , I think the puzzle is resolved !!! Shocked
