My brotherinlaw owns a lil bit o land which is used as an allotment and has let me loose on it with m detector Smiley Here is what ive found so far maby 2 more days left on there. i not sure what sum pieces are especially the lead item with iron in it? and the thing with a thread and round bowel type end? Cheers. Lee
Knowone have any idea what the lead item could be? with the iron or steel inside??

almost looks like the tip of rod used in conducting old electrical experiments and demonstrations (circa mid to late 1800's)

Hi Lee,
One piece you have there next to the bent piece , near centre with lines on it "treads" is a piece of AA shell fragment WW2.......HH...Johnnn

That's a connecting rod end from a Morris Minor front steering linkage.
