Go Up Go Down

I uncovered a couple of interesting items. A gold ring with an, it appears, ivory inset and a gold tie clasp. On the tie clasp, if anyone knows any history on this I would appreciate it. I have looked but cannot find anything. It is a simple clasp with a pendent in the middle with Washington, DC on it with a Baseball hanging from it. Any info would be helpful
Thanks
Chip

Going out on a limb, based on the style of tie clasp, I'd say it's fanwear for the Washington Nationals/Washington Senators (probably during the time they were going by the name "Nationals").  This would be the team that moved to Minnesota to become the Twins

Interesting, BA, interesting. That would make it around the late 50's early 60's then. As always thanks for your input. I was surprised to find this item. Looked pretty good after it was cleaned up a tad

Actually, the club played as the Senators from 1901 through 1904 and from 1956 through 1960.   They played as the Nationals from 1905 through 1955.

This particular style of tie chain was particularly popular between the 1930's and early 1940's
