I love looking at pictures of dead monarchs....the older the better.  Congratulations on the find.   Isn't amazing how many of the best finds are because someone dug an "iffy" signal?  Just goes to show, "if it beeps, dig it"

a hammy is a hammered coin sometimes we call them hamsters its a word we use in england hope this helps the coin is an edward 1st 1272-1307
