Hi all, went hunting in the field behind my place today didnt find anything special but it looks like Im on the right track after finding the old bottle top too bad it was broken it has a pink tint to the glass notice the big round iron piece anybody know what that would be? Later, Foiled Again

Im just using an old radio shack model it discriminates but not very well I dont use it. I dig iron around my area anywaybecause this area was settled around 1700-1720 and I find old knives and buckles and things like that Im hoping to find some Rev. war items.Thanks for looking,Foiled.

Will keep posting, it is a great area Lancaster, Pa was actually the capitol of the colonies in Sept 27, 1777 our founding fathers fled Philadelphia because philly was invaded by british forces so it is quiet possible to find gw buttons and such. The oldest recorded home in this county was built in 1719. Have a good night, and thanks for your interest, Foiled.
