Ace 250

Go Up Go Down

One of those mornings that we all like to have. I was up early supposed to make a day trip that was canceled last minute, so I grabbed my old Ace 250 & headed to the beach. The life guard setting up told me she had seen many other hunters in the past few days (mostly tourists with an eBay special). It was a normal start I found 2 pennies then a few dimes (Total 5) then some trash targets, but in a 30ft area I started hitting targets, they were anywhere from 2 - 16+ inches. In a matter of 2 hours I had pickup 27 1 dollar coins &  $34.25 in quarters . For me that's a WOW $61.77 in change is my top coin haul ever in my daily walks on the beach. They had been buried a while but I wish I knew the back story on how they made there way there.. I know we have casino boats that go out & they reclaim the beach with sand from out in the ocean.
I have to say it was a rush , my pockets were so full my shorts were saggin & I have a blister on my thumb from the scoop..  Cheesy  Looks like I have the down payment for my AT Pro..  I'm headed back tomorrow  Wink

Yowser!, a very nice haul if I ever saw one.   Shocked
Worth a small blister, for sure, and a down payment on an AT PRO.
Always good to have a plan.  Keep up the good work, I can't believe I just used a 4 letter word to describe MD.

I usually keep it on all metal and dicrim the the 1st 3 bars if I am in dry sand. If in wet I go to coins or custom and add a bar to the left of a nickle.. Good huntin  Detecting Let me know how you do.
