Interesting - what has the price been, on average, before it went up?

Over the last year it has hovered around 17 - 18 bucks an ounce. In fact I think it was just a couple months ago that I saw it at 17.50 so this is a big jump in a short time

Wonder if it will keep rising - I found an old 1940 quarter recently so good to hear it's worth more today than last week. It's 1st 1940 one for me.

It had been hovering from $14 to $18 for the past couple of years.  Three years ago, it went above $20 for one day.

With the price of gold going up, it has an affect on other precious metals as well.  Plus, the fragile state of the U.S. economy could made silver go higher and stay for a while.  We'll just have to wait and see.
Congrats on finding a silver quarter.  They are fun to find.  By the way, your quarter has silver in it worth around $3.50 by today's prices.

to sell or not to sell, that is the question.   Whether 'tis better to sell and to have the bird in hand or to hold and have two or more in the bush should the present trends continue.
