Go Up Go Down

Hi all, a good friend of mine posted this on another forum.  I thought you all might be interested in seeing this program Wed. June 1, 2011 at 9 p.m.

Here is what he wrote:Hi Folks,

A few months ago I was asked by Minelab America's to meet the folks of History Channels "American Pickers" in Beautiful, Historic Gettysburg Pa. Two awesome Minelab Etrac's were proudly donated by Minelab Americas (Gary Schafer, Rob Freeman and Ena Sanguinetti) to be used by Mike and Frank detecting for Civil war relics. Please tune in to see American Pickers on Wednesday, June 1st at 9:00 pm EST time on the History Channel. This will be a special episode featuring our E-TRAC.

Thanks!

Yeah I wonder if it was just a gimmick , either that after they found out how to use them , then they found out it was illegal to hunt the battle fields !

Karl, I would bet where they were going to hunt or did hunt was Private Property and they hunted with the land owners permission. There are plenty of places around Gettysburg to hunt legally and the places do not belong to the National Park!

Just this last spring I hunted part of a battle site that belongs to a farmer. He only owns 5000 acres of land and a small portion of his property was one of the Biggest Calvary battle sites in the US.   So just because it is a battle site, doesn't mean that it's a National Park.
