	Chesil Beach Medieval gold ring sells for ?16,730 « on: June 27, 2010, 09:58:00 am »

The gold ring, which bore a seal and Latin inscription to the Virgin Mary, was discovered washed up on Chesil Beach in the mid 1920s.

Granted, this ring was found a long time ago, but I'd think that beach would be choice for someone today detecting. Nice picture of ring at site. Sue
