East Hartford.  I've been to parks and schools in East Hartford, Somers, Enfield, Manchester, and Windsor Locks.  Heading to Myrtle Beach next for 5 days MD'ing on the beach.  Plan to go to an area near an amusement park.  Are you near Sturbridge and are there good sites around you?

Yes, I'm nestled in the Southbridge, Sturbridge, CT corner. I'm still looking for the honey hole. We will have to get together some weekend to detect. I'm actually on vacation this coming week so any day would be ok. Maybe some Saturday we go swinging somewhere. I'll add you to my buddy list.

Yes it good to find coins. I started in the play grounds around the slides & swings. I just found newer coins too. Now I have started looking in old parks in grass. I haven't found any silver yet. But got a few wheaties, 1955, 1944 & 1914.
