Silver's always good to find! It's on my list of things to find this year. Strangely, I've found three seated liberty, and one 1892 barber quarters but no silver Washingtons yet. It will happen this year though!!! If you think positively, good things happen; or so I've been told. lol. Happy Hunting!

Well, check your change often....silver is turning up more frequently now.  Within a week, I've had two different people hand me silver they got in change earlier in the day--one was a silver rosie from a convenience store, and the other was a silver Washington from a vending machine at my office.

First I want to say congrats on the First Silver finders here. First silver is a thrill. I always check my change I get back from the store clerk. I've had good finds in my change. I've been detecting about 3 years and I've only scored 3 silver washingtons.

I have a friend owens a party store and he knows I hunt and collect coins and he will let me behind the counter and I will sometimes go through the coins in the drawer. It all started when he handed me a wheat cent in my change Smiley
