Just came on to these forums and though I'd post a some pics of my better finds. Here's an 1898 IH penny. Found this at a school that isn't very old at all. Got me a bit puzzled as to why it was there. If i remember right didn't find it too deep (about 3-4 in.). So it has me puzzled a bit.

I also found a 1901 Indian penny a few months ago.  It was 4 inch down in a parking lot behing the one of the schools here in Gainesville.  I was told they had just filled in the parking lot with dirt 6 month prior.  Poss from the dirt where it came from.  But I'm happy with the find.  It is there for the finding!  Good find there.  Look forward to seeing more finds.
