Hans Barbosa and Cap Miwa are right, the bonds have to be real. From what I have heard they are traded on a very august level, far from the sight of we ordinary mortals. Thus, there is no mention of this type of bond in Wikipedia or on any other "respectable" web site. The Federal Reserve of New York is lying when it claims that such bonds do not exist. The bonds come in $50,000, $100,000,000 and $500,000,000 denominations.
