If you're looking for potential hunt sites that others may have missed, you'll want to find a copy of
Those Forgotten Places Volume#2 - Utah by D. Gordon McNab. The book was published in the late 1980's or early 1990's.
There are only 3 volumes in the series, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada.
I own a copy of the Arizona volume so my statements are going to be based on that book. (I've seen enough of a Utah copy to know that it follows the same basic format).
The book had a list price of $40 when published. It has the same type of plastic spiral binding that a lot of cookbooks use, and is made up of what looks like xeroxed sheets, so it isn't very impressive looking.....but open it up and get into the meat of it and you'll decide it's worth the $40. Have fun finding one at that price, though, since most copies go for over $80 a pop IF you can find one. Even most libraries don't carry copies, so you'll probably want to look in larger libraries, and even then you'll probably have to search in the Reference or Special Collections section.
The books are 8 1/2" by 11" and run around 600 pages. I've attached some sample pages from the Arizona volume so you can get an idea why I think this is such a valuable resource for ghost towners.
