Yes correct RF shielding is considered for the design, but it is not easy for rebuild it, or even troubleshooting, whenever the system get problem.

Also important is frequency , then measure each DC resistance of the [tx]transmit and [rx]receive coils .
Then check the capacitance values on the circuit board , oscillator , input  etc. Then do your resonance formulas on paper . A lot you can do on paper if you do not have LC meter .

Rx    C=6nF
       L=12,2 mH
       f=18599 Hz

Tx    C=100nF+47nF+5n6=153 nF
        L=1,024 mH
        f=12717 Hz

Excellent Work Galaksi !! That circuit looks like it was from old Elektor Magazine Project . Also similar done at Russian site .
