Hi Noro

It is is simple to add a file or photo, just go to "Preview" there you will see the "Browse" button, just remember that you are limited to 500Kb per photo so you may need to re-size them first.

All the best
Xavier

I tried the camera on your phone but are larger than 500k, so I prefer to quit.
I also did the sprint wiring layout (not perfect in the sense of compact, prefer larger spaces if not economic) planning to check in practice Sascho's latest scheme.
Although the sensitivity of Sascho schemes are a little lower by 1-3 cm are good and easily made from TGSL or IDX etc. and I appreciate the effort and passion of this man, who may very well not to put the site's creations, considering that the geotech1.com was denigrated by some presumptuous.

Hi Noro

You will almost always need to re-size your photos, in order to do that get PixResizer   from here

Hi Noro

Thanks for posting your photos. You did a great job on them detectors, just want to tell you that you can set the pixresizer to 600x800 pixels, this will make a nice size photo and it will not be too big for the forum. How well dose this detector work? what depth do you get and how stable is it?

All the best
Xavier

Hi Xavier,
So far the tests are in the air and in the ground a little easier around the house, so the results are a bit vague.
Discrimination is good.
I do not want to risk are not authorized under our legislation.
I have an old coin silver and one gold (Kruggerrand-Sout Africa1982) 17mm diameter and 150mm sensitivity coil.
For larger diameter coins increase the distance to 280-300mm in the air.
If you are friendly with totate frankness please, can you tell me if the performance is acceptable or not.
I have not owned other devices or other models, so only discussion I found out that the depth of detection is a little weaker than other devices.
Thanks, Noro

You have to remember that gold is not an easy metal to detect but from the size of the coin 150mm sounds a bit small. I also used a Kruger Rand coin when I was still living in South Africa to do testing with and I got better results. The thing is are you using the 1/4 or 1/2 Kruger Rand gold coin? judging from the diameter 17mm I think that you are using the 1/2 Kruger Rand coin I used the full Kruger Rand coin so it's difficult now for me to say if the result was any better or not. Actually now that I think of it I was using a silver thresh pence to do testing with as well and I got about 150mm in air test result but the coin was only about 11mm in diameter so yes it is low for the gold coin. It could be that your coil is not quite right, I only build coils of 220 to 240mm in diameter as I find them to be great. A 150mm or smaller coil will be good to find small nuggets but then you will lose out in depth.

All the best
Xavier PS do you have the schematics to send me in high resolution? if so I will PM you my email address as I can't make out the one that was posted.
