There's a rule of thumb with all large coils irrespective of brand or model. The larger the coil, the greater the search area and depth. There is also a great loss in small sized objects though. No free lunch, in other words. Things like earrings, fine chains, perhaps dimes and small rings will not register. You must keep that in mind when using the larger coils. Personally, I think they're terrific for a second go on an area you have already hunted successfully or for relic hunting any time.
