This is one of over 50 casings I found in one hole in the Ardennes. My wife and I drove for a small break to the Ardennes, about 3 hours drive, while my wife was negotiating our room in the hotel, I was round the carpark with my detector, Prizm 3, [Mr White]!!!! and found more than 50 of these empty casings in one hole. Do I thank my wife for sorting out the hotel or do I thank myself for telling my wife what beuatiful counrtyside Belgium has to offer?Huh?

I am salivating with envy.  Are they German or Allied casings?   Shocked

I believe they are Allied casings, the internet tells me that the S L stands for St Louis, where it was made and the 43 is the year of manufacture
