Reno, as a starter of this thread, you attached a treasure map. It is only natural for viewers to check the authenticity of the said map. If you will check the attached map after I viewed it, I found very unusual wording on it.
I'm not saying it is not original, but as yamashita treasure blooming negatively, it is worth studying everything connected to it.

As you can deduce, Japanese maps and all its information should/must be considered "secret", however, the word Japanese treasure and Phils. are well written to entice anyone who will read it.

Please check the attached map and see the english words enclosed in rectangle and give your honest comments.

That was my first question too when I first saw the map. but the map was passed from one Thunter to another. I was thinking that the written english word on that map was super imposed by the original owner or by another Thunter that pass through him We do not have the original copy of it....
but the best thing is, although we just have a copy of the map, more or less we have located the location of the island...

Homefire,
I am not good in determining chemicals, but my first impression of the white stuff is cyanide because cyanide is used in purifying gold. The effects of the white stuff that we have on the skin are: itchiness, blisters and in prolonged exposure, wounds and lung problems, maybe it is no longer that potent because of the sea water that always floods the pit.

bro., you seem to know about something in the province of Rizal,I must admit when I saw the map it resembles a lot to that of the treasure mountain there [ Rizal ].I've been there jst last month, surveyed the area with some THrs there but were reluctant to do operations 'coz lots of places there  explodes by itself.Strong possibility of Volumes, but seeing the markers [ danger signs ] is something that you would consider.
