I just want to ask somebody regarding what we found in one of our diggings. At more or less 105 feet deep of our diggings we found a medallion, it is made of metal (bronze) with engrave letterings back to back. At one side, it has a marking of "A A A", "M M M", "MEGS","P C", at the back there are also letters of  "M M M", "C C C", "L B K", "G M H" and "PURTUGUESS" at the lower portion. At the center there is an engrave inverted atriagle with an engrave eye at the center of the triangle. May be this can be an amulet. The size is more or less 3 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1/8" in thickness. Picture of the item is attached.

If somebody have some knowledge about this item, please let me know through my email. Thank you

Hello christian,

Yes I was the one who put in a black cord/string. When we found the medallion it was covered with thick asphalt and when we clean and removed the asphalt it turns out to be a medallion with several letters. After I we clean it, I discovered that there was a small hole at the upper portion where a string can be put up. Hence after cleaning, I put in a black cord so that I can wear it around my neck.

Thanks

Hello,

As we continue to dig in our site, the same site that we found the medallion, we again found another item, this time it is a "Cup" made of metal. It was also coated with asphalt when we found it at a deep of more than 100 feet, when we remove the asphalt and clean it, it turns out to be a cup with some engave decorations that look to be flowers. I really dont know what this item is. Actually I did not test it whether it is gold or not. This is the picture of the item

Dear Golderace1750,
Your amulet belonged to a Portuguese Priest who would wear the amulet around his neck. Inside would be special prayers or parts of the holy bible.
It was worn for protection against evil doers, and gave the preist comfort, with the
Face of Christ looking out for him, as he travelled.
The priest would have the blessing of the Pope in Italy, and would have been an early missionary to spread the Catholic religion across the Philippines.
The Copper Cup was used by the priest for giving Holy Communion, and would have been part of belongings as he travelled through the P.I.
These Religious items are very old, possibly 100-150+ years.
I work with people from Portugal who recognised these religious artifacts straight away. Shocked
These items may be part of an old Jesuit treasure trove, or stolen from a nearby Spanish Church or Abbey by the Japanese and buried with many other religious artifacts such a cross, gold plates, vases, etc. I would expect items more the deeper you go. (i suspect the latter the asphelt gave it away: japanese buried it.)
Historically both items are valued in Portugal, because of thier religious significance, and past history.
I hope this helps you.
Please be careful in the hole!
God Bless

Golden Eagle

Dear Golden Eagle,

Thank so much for the information that you have given me, I am really greatful for that information. I agree  with you that the items that we found in the digging are all religious anti facts. It might be taken from a church and buried together with the treasures. In fact, as we continue diggings deeper we found another items used by the priest where a fire is set and a "kamanyang" will be thrown in the fire to produce smoke to drive away evil sperits. We experience also one friday night last week around 10 PM when it was raining heavily, a lightning that was so bright intered inside our digging, it was so bright that our diggers who slept near the digging saw the lighting penetrated inside, they were really afraid and moved away. When they work the next day, they found the medallion.
We cannot realy understand this event, may be it was just a coinsidence, but why the lightning went inside the diggings. The excavation is covered with plastic roof, but the roof was neither destroyed nor burns. As we dig deeper, we used to recovered items that is likely related to religious antifacts. Do you think there is a  buried treasures inside? We used detector and it yielded possitive, but how deep is the treasure? As of now, it was all fine sand already of which these religious antifacts that we found were mixed with the fine sand. we reach already approximately 108 ft and we continue the digging.

We found another signs, this time it is a cemented adobe blocks with the markings of "71T."  I dont know what this markings is. what do you think is this markings?. Could this represent seventy one  (71) tons? or something. It was found at a deep of more or less 120 ft mixed with fine sand. After we dig for another one foot, we found another sign, it is a stone with different holes in it, one (1)  hole is bigger while the other six (6) holes are small. Can anybody give me an idea of this markings?. Would it be a map of the treasures. what we looking for? These are the pictures

Thank you
