Go Up Go Down

I live in the philippines, last week while digging a septic tank for my new home close to the mountains, my workers discovered 3 large stones with man made ingravings, one stone had a x another had a house, the last had a chinese or japanese symbol. stones where found at 5'. I told them to cover it up & wait until I get back from my job next month.
I dont know wether to start digging & possibly ecounter expolsives & take out the new house or just retrive the stones & use them for my landscaping.
I have a high paid job so money is not the issue & I dont want greedy goverment pinoys pulling a heavy arm on me.
Can any one give me a suggestion on what these signs mean?
