yamashita treasures in the Philippines

I know little about the history of the Japanese occupation  but am reading up on it now interesting. But we can not have a discussion about it here without the 3 or 4 trouble makers jumping in with their ghost and rock story's.
Your right about their insulting massages it is getting old along with their answers of a dozen smiley's how juvenile at the same time wanting us to believe in their treasure.
Its not just here either, at a fossil forum I belong to there is a guy [Philippine] who shows up every few weeks with a bunch of rocks that the gods told him were meteorites or fossil whale guts or some stuff. He wants someone to send money or books or help some way. CON-MAN.
The last time I was there was back in 71 on a 3 day R&R so know little about the people and as you have lived and worked in the area I will follow your lead on this Mr. Cornelius

I always get a chuckle when Yamashita treasure proponents bring up the Roxas vs Marcos lawsuit. 

First off...it was a trial by jury.
Second, the American jury was not a jury of peers for Marcos. The jury only saw a deposed dictator, a rather wealthy one at that.
Third, there was no physical evidence presented. Only video taped hearsay
Forth, there was no evidence entered that the Yamashita treasure existed. Those charges were dropped
Fifth, I could go on and on...but, what's the use. The large judgment was appealed and reversed. Roxas won a lesser judgment, but has made so many appeals to increase the judgment, the time limit has expired. No monies were paid
