I always liked the Colt Walker, the most powerful handgun made until the 44mag came out. A buddy has a 3040 Craig that is a good shooter.

Hi oRo,
Yes the Walker was the most powerful in its day, but it was the heavest handgun ever made. the 30-40 Craig I have had several of these but never one that wasnt a arsnel refurbish. the last one I had the serial number was 000012 I enjoyed it for about 3 years, until I sold it to a friend of mine who is a huge Craig Collector.....Rob

I found a Colt 1860 made in 1868 a few years back and have fired it.

Thanks for looking out for the forum, by giving us some tips on these guns, I know I wouldn't know the fake from the real thing.

Go Up Go Down

Back when I lived in Utah the local shop I used to go to told me of a guy who found a Henrys wrapped in an oily rag in the foundation of a house in a ghost town north of the Great Salt Lake.  I don't know the truth of it but it got me out looking more often...and buying more stuff.
