Hello guys!

We really need your help.
We have honey moon on Boracay. And 2 days ago we lost our wedding rings near the cost. Both rings!(
We really want to find them.
We tried to rake the sand, used net, do it by hands. We think metal scanner will help us, we know exactly places we had lose rings. But we cannot find anyone metal detectors at whole island. Could you please advice who we can ask for it?
Our vocation will be finnished on 21 of April, we have time yet and we are ready to arrive anywhere for rent or buy metal detector.
Please help. You are our last hope!

Unfortunately I'm too far away, otherwise I'd help you for free. You can try searching

www.sulit.com.ph
for metal detector vendors near your current location.

If you can't find a normal "treasure hunting" type of metal detector, here's an idea: try borrowing or renting a wand-type metal detector from a security guard. The way I see it, unless the soil where you lost the rings is very mobile, recently lost objects should be shallow. It's not ideal; you'll have to spend time on hands and knees waving it over the area where you lost the rings and the detection distance is small, but at least it gives you a chance. Remember to grid out the area and do a systematic search. Good luck!

Unfortunately all places that we can find ships from US and this shipping takes more than 5 business days. By that time we already will be heading home. Maybe you can recommend detectors' shop in Malay or China that have in there stock garrett ace 250 or basic minlab. shipping from those country to philippines starts from 1 business day.

In that case google metal detectors in china and order one, hopefully it will work you cant guarantee anything out of china but if thats you best option I would take it, just try and buy a better rated one they have, china copies everything from America so anything you get will be a copy for the states, look for one that says it use 3 frequencies and get it. good luck !

We've searched in solit.com.ph but there are only Chinese detectors or nothing in stock and they ships from US.

As for the guardian detector we thing that it won't see our rings because they are platinum.

You have the better part of 4 working days till the 21st. IMO, that's not enough time to import a detector, even if you use a speedy courier like DHL As is they take 3-5 working days. Hit a slight delay in transit or during customs clearance and you'd be out of time. A seller in Manila would be yr best bet. With your time constraint, even a China detector is better than nothing.

If you're still wanting to import a machine, I do know that

in Malaysia stocks Garrett. They are on the pricey side though.

Vourvon, if you're reading this, maybe you know of someone in the area who can lend/rent them a Coinmaster or some other machine?
