Go Up Go Down

This is all a bit complicated getting in. I've gone around and around because I entered the wrong section. There is so much to read here, so I will have to pace myself. (I really need to sign out and get on with other things: re housework, washing etc!).
I replied instead of coming in in this section.
What I wanted to say was that my husband and I have just returned from 5 months on the Eastern Goldfields in WA (mainly between Kalgoorlie and Meekatharra.) We were there from April to August and weather was good. Nights cold (but not like Northern Europe and N.America) but days were not hot yet and roads were dry and able to be driven over( ie 4WD) (not like around Lake Eyre (where they have had the greatest rains in Australian recorded history). Anyone else there within this time frame?

I hope you don't mind that I moved this from New User Introductions to Australia.
I thought about putting it in the prospecting board, but based on your previous two postings I put it here as I feel doing so will best increase the odds of your getting a response quickly from one of the Australian contingent.
If memory serves, i do believe that a couple of our members have mentioned prospecting in that general area in the past.

Hi, I live in Adelaide but I have spent winter in the W.A. goldfields since the SD2000 hit the market, but for the recent two winters I have to take it easy, received a few spare parts to my body, next year I will be back with vengeance.
Regards, Brian

I've been to Kalgoorlie but not up north. Good that it rained for you. Make life a bit easier. Where in WA do you call home?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
