Oh boy, glad we haven't got many of those critters in the UK. Had my first Crane Fly in the house last night.  Last years autumn invasion was crazy, you only had to open the house door and several came zooming in.  I wouldn't mind but they fly like drunk pilots and keep crashing into your head, they drive me nuts ! I daresay favourable though compared to mosquitos !

   One of the  Scourages of the Earth Mosquito's !   When I was was Florida I found out your legs can turn Black covered with them when you stop walking fast enough.

The rascals here in CT carry West Nile virus, Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE), and they are being tested for Zika virus now. I am running a test to see if a few Yuengling Lagers (12 oz) will provide protection. Let ya know ....

    Yea they have all that stuff and  some more around the Rio Grand rivers just down the road.  Encephalitis is the Bad Bad Boy.   Too Dry around here unless it rains for  a few days.  They'll Bread in your Ice Tea if you take to long to drink it.  Sleep with a Fan Blasting over me in the summer.
