Hello All

Here is a story about a missing Gold.shipment from West Australia dating back to 1898.

There was Gold shipment from Lawler to Cue guarded by a police escort. The Parcel was witnessed being placed on the coach at an inn on the black all range. But was discovered missing when the police escort and trooper arrived at Cue.

Was the gold shipment stolen when the constables back was turned? Or he himself was involved in the theft? Or did the gold really fell out of coach along bumpy rutted dirt bush track somewhere between the Blackall range and Cue?

There was many accusations pointed at the police because of this loss. And the mystery was never fully explained.

But perhaps it is still worth the ultimate optimist gold prospecting in the area keep an eye out along old overgrown bush tracks of a lost parcel of gold.

Hardluck

I also heard about the lost of gold when they move it in Cue. It was a mystery lost of gold because they hardly find the cause. They only predict but there is no clear evidence on it.

Hello Manavi

All these stories should taken for what they are. Legends. Some will have no truth in them what so ever others based on some facts and other maybe some thing more. However like all legends some have a simple explanation other will always be an mystery.
