I previously posted a find of 71 silver half dollars, today my hunting partner and myself
went back to the same beach and found 41 more silver half dollars. All were walking liberty type and a couple of barber heads. I used my explorer se pro and my partner used his excaliber. I found 23 and he found 18. All total we have 112 half dollars in a 25 ft square on the beach at low tide. Potomac river in Va... , lots of nails and other iron pieces.
We had a lot of fun and hope to find more in the future.. Happy Hunting...Johnlaw

it sounds like that particular area is part of a rip or affected by many currents that dump the contents of longshore drift into that spot keep at it you might of hit a glory hole  Cheesy

 Fight Hi............The dates on the coins range from around 1903 to 1945, about 10 of the coins were barber heads, the rest were walking liberty type.. We pretty much cleaned out the spot and will be looking for another honey hole.. Happy hunting on this great earth God has created...Johnlaw in Va........

go back in a couple of weeks to a month and check it out again it took years for that to fill up and it will again in time its at a place where a load of currents meet.  Be carefull there could be a Rip near it or is part of one.  Shocked
