.   There are other tips available if you search the forum.... (a big one is running the cable straight up the lower shaft and not coiling it until you hit the upper shaft.   another is to remember to "re-balance" when moving from dry to wet sand).    Those who take the time to follow the tips seem to be pleased with the results.

Take a pocket full of golf tee's to mark your targets before you dig.
You will see a pattern develop.

Also do not be afraid to turn the sensitivity up in dry sand. Have read targets 18" deep with my ace250 in dry sand. You can tell if its to high by to many false signals, just get familiar with this adjustment in all metal mode. You will be glad you did.

Did this around a picnic table on the beach and found over eighteen targets most over sixteen inchs deep.
Otherwise they just did not show up.

It will also work in wet sand just turn the sensitivity back down. More rings and jewelry in the wet sand it seems.

Hope this helps.

Yep!  People thought the ACE was a dud on wet ocean sands.

It seems people are finding that turning down the sense In Coin mode works quite well.

There is a YouTube video out there that shows how to get about it. Wise

its fine on the dry sand.. on the wet just know the sens down to 2-3 bars and it will help with the falsing.. you wont get much depth though..
