On the beach at Capitola CA, sometimes you'll get a whopping big iron tone near a rock breakwater. It turns out to be a large iron safe, the size of a refrigerator, dumped onto the breakwater when it was built. Don't try to dig it up!

Fantastic machine, particularly with BigFoot. But my daughter seems to find just as much jewelry with her Coinmaster.

Look closely: that's a hinge pin near the bottom of the photo. Safe is face up, no door, cavity is full of sand and water. I'm told it's been there for many years, sometimes visible, sometimes buried. It is left to folks with more time than me to excavate.
