Yes beware of the humans, they can be the most dangerous and unpredictable of all the animals out there

I'm pleased to report that Goldenboy's idea of using netting and a fishfinder, plus rotting goat/cow offal placed approx 150meters upstream seems to have worked. No crocs were seen at the netted area. We used a garmin fishfinder and checked the netted area (as well as approx 50 meters up and down stream outside the netted area; no crocs.

Am leaving the netting in place; my men will continue observing for a few more days; no more offal will be put out for the time being. If all is well, the targeted area will be tackled in earnest next week.
