Well, the problem is that under water metal detectors are pretty expensive in general. The best available machine is the Fihser CZ-21 in my oppinion. However it is also rather expensive at USD 999.00 retail. But it an be bought at under USD 400.00 on eBay if you are lucky. A bitc heaper are the Tesro machines but they are not as deepseeking as teh CZ-21.

Regards,

Christian

Yeah I wasn't really looking to go deep. Just shallow water.

Then I would suggest looking for a pre-owned Tesoro Stingray on eBay. If you are lucky (let me emphasise teh word lucky Smiley ) you can snipe it at 200 bucks. That's your best bet then.

60 feet is pretty deep! I would suggest renting one.
I use the Aqua Pulse and a custom Excaliber 1000. These will run from 1200.00 to 2500.00 or so.  You should be able to rent a CZ or Excal

The Aqua Pulse is also a great machine and still one of my favourites. A nice Eric Foster design!

Christian
