me and the wife took the grankids to largs beach today i took my metal detector and found my first pound coin within five minutes i was hoping to find more but it decided to pour down and we had to leave

I actually being an American, have much gratitude to the fine people of Great Britian, or England as I have always called it. As well as Australia.

I adore much about your country & a great deal about the history of GB & AU, I mean ours here in the USA is forever more merged with it you could say, since it's as close to being true to say we were (torn from the same cloth) but wanted to weave our own (new tunic) with that piece from old.
So I always enjoy reading & seeing the coin finds from you gentleman, and I flip when I see that awesome artwork on those Florins and pound coins and shillings.

lol, it's worth much more than our values are too, so that also makes me want to visit GB & AU when I have a chance to.

Congratulations mate, and if you could post a pic of that coin it sure would be nice to see that little beauty.. Great
