I live in Northern New Jersey. I'm wondering what other beaches besides Sandy Hook are off limits.

I know some 10 years ago I was told I couldn't detect the beach at Asbury Park. I don't know if it is still the same rule.
Also I remembered getting shooed off the beaches where you have to pay admission or need a pass, when they opened in the morning, this was during the swimming season. You have to get to them early and hunt till the beach attendents come.

I live down here in souther NJ, 5 min. car ride into ocean city nj.. so off the top of my head to help ya out, wildwood, no beach tags needed that I know of, Ocean city, longport, margate, AC, a few of them you do need a beach tag, but, if ya get there before 9 am  your aok.. also cape may but I am not sure on the tag situation there.  hope this helps.

fogot to mention, theres alot of beach replenishing going on down here too.. they have just started in sea isle.. strathmere also was done, but due to the severe noreastern storms alot has been already washed out.. Ocean city is replenishing on the north end of the island down by north street.  Hope this helps.
