Hi, I am new to treasure hunting.. I am lQQking for a metal detector that has the best performance underwater (0 - 100m) and can distinguish trash metals from the more exotic i.e. gold

Any advise appreciated

Thanks

Pete

Tesoro's Tiger Shark is a great machine.

The Tiger Shark is good but I think teh Fisher CZ.21 is presently still top of the line. Pretty good disc and more depth than the Tesoro. Just my 2 cents though Smiley

Christian

Sniper,
I'm using the Minelab Excalibur 1000, good to 200ft have used in fresh and salt have had no problems works well in all conditions as well as on land, Only considerations, no LCD display, no battery life display, belt accessory a must on land hunts, " I must get one myself very fatigued after these last storms up north. and w/ every machine a bit of a learning curve. I'm still learning Cheesy. Just something to think about but I believe I have one of the best, good luck to ya happy hunting.

The only game in town is the excalibur for all conditions.
