I am also a water hunter and I am in Virginia Beach, Va.  Where are you located?  Have you been hunting long?  I have been at it for over 30 years.

hey DanielG......good to have you here.   Make yourself at home----living in the desert, I don't get many opportunities to hunt in the water, but I like reading the posts in this board for when I do go to Hawaii, California, Texas, or Florida.

I HAVE BEEN TREASURE HUNTING SINCE 1968 AND IT HAS BEEN VERY REWARDING FOR ME.I STARTED LAND HUNTING AND
THEN I WENT TO THE WATER,BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH MORE GOLD AND SILVER.I DO ALOT OF RESEARCH BEFORE I GO TO THE SITE.i NOW LIVE
IN WASHINGTON STATE,BEEN HERE FOR 34 YEARS.I STARTED IN CALIF FIRST,AND I FOUND HUNDREDS OF SILVER COINS
AND OTHER GREAT COINS,PLUS LOTS OF SILVER AND GOLD RINGS.AROUND THIRTY YEARS AGO I INVENTED THE DEEP DIVER
ITS A HAND HELD LARGE SCOOP.I USE THIS EQUIP IN OLD LAKE RESORTS WITH A MUD BOTTOM,BECAUSE DIVERS CAN NOT
FIND ANYTHING,AND THEY SINK IN IT.THIS NO JOKE IN ONE RESORT I PULLED OVER 90,000 COINS AND HUNDREDS OF RINGS
AND THE SILVER COUNT WAS AROUND OVER FIVE THOUSAND COINS.IF YOU WANT ME TO E-MAIL SOME PICTURES I CAN TRY.
THE BEST RING I HAVE FOUND WAS A 14K WITH FIVE DIAMOUNDS,1/4 STONES.THIS ONE LAKE RESORT WAS A TOTAL
BONANZA,I AM STILL LOOKING FOR ANOTHER.TAKE CARE AND WE  WILL TALK SOON.

Water hunting is the greatest  Cheesy
I have found a lot of coins in the old swimming holes. ( As soon as time and weather permit )  I will be going out to a old camp ground that is closed  for some years now. I know exactly in the lake where the old swimming hole was and it is about 1\2 hour from me and it sits back in a woods off the main road. . The water is low so I should have no problems.

Do you remember the H&S Detector Center or was that before your time?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

H&S was in Virginia Beach, Ron. I thought maybe we'd met since I did a lot of treasure projects with the owners there on weekends.
