My name is Josh and i have a hobby of building and hunting.  I would like to combine both... But i was curious what you guys would recommend for building my own metal detector ... something that can go deep, be a good price to build..? Maybe to search for large meteorites ...

Hey Josh Welcome to the forum.

You don't want my recommendation because I will say something like build the blue one sorry I ain't no tech But in a few more post you will be a full member and can look in the downloads for some designs and plans. Plus there is lots to read here by guys that build their own detectors
