Anything about the Bounty Hunter Land Star? My (EX) bought this somewhere around 96-97. When he ran off with younger woman he forgot it!! I joined this site yesterday when the idea struck me that I would like to get out with it and do some hunting since I have 3 days a week with nothing to do! I figure if nothing else the excersise would do me some good!
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

The detector is a beginner model but sure should be good enough to get you started. Best try it in your backyard first with some coins and junk objects (iron nails ...) to get an idea for it. If you need anyh lep we will be most happy to assist you.

Best wishes,

Christian

If you don't have the manual one can be found here.

These machines seem to work good, I've played around with one a bit awhile back and it worked good.

I used the BH LS for several years, found thousands of coins and several rings. I still use one for backup, now. You can get a 4 inch coil (nugget buster) that is deadly in tot lots, along metal fences, sidewalks, and other tight places. I ran mine in notch with the disc. knob all the way left and the sensitivity from 11 to 2 o'clock with either coil.  Good Luck! Cal

I know what you mean about the weather,Mona. It was in the high 60's Friday and started snowing yesterday, so far we have 9 inches. Us southern boys don't do well on snow and ice. HH Cal

I'm in Northwest Arkansas on the Missouri (4 miles) and Oklahoma (7miles) line. Suppose to be in the mid 60's Tuesday, what a mess it will be, with all this snow. CG
