 Hello to all can somebody help me please i purchased a second hand detector but it has no sound coming from it also dosent seem to detect anything yet indicator needle fluctuates it has no name only number which is MD-3006SS-A hope theres some one out that can help thanks

Hello John,

welcome to our forum. Unfortunately the MD series of detector are all very cheaply made in China and hardly work. Your machine is properly working right but its given detecting depth is unfortunately close to nothing. I'd recommend buying a cheap (pre-owened) Garrett Ace 150 or 250 to get your started in the hobby.
