If you haven't already done so, go to the home page, scroll down to the Tech Talk section and see what is posted under the following: "Metal Detectors > PI Designs and Deepseekers".   There has been a whole lot of discussion there regarding the Pulse Star II.  If you don't find the answers you are looking for there, that is probably the best place on this site to get the answer.
