  Hey All
I have been looking around and got it down to three. Its between the Garrett Pro Pointer, Fisher F-4 and, the Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 Pro. I have no idea about using a detector I am new to this so out of the three which would be better for the new guy? I will be using it on the beach and in fields and jungle. Thanks!
I ment to say 4 the fourth is the Whites Classic 5ID

Hi there Ghostrider,

I am a newbie myself and had tried my brother's F2.  I found it to be very easy to handle (lightweight) and thought the pinpoint feature worked well and was spot on finding the target depth.  The controls were very intuitive and easy to adjust on the fly.  I had spent one day in the field with it and after some familiarization with the controls was able to manipulate them with ease.

I also viewed some videos on the Fisher web site for the F2 and F4 and can see the F4 has some really nice features not included on the F2 like the ground balance.  I think you will be happy with your choice.

Good Hunting!
