hi paul a   been in my garden  and dug up a newmaket vip stand   bage   for horse racing    made of metal i know that there made of cardboard now  happy whith find  needs a bit of clean  up

Wow,
That sounds real nice, probably a fair bit of age to it too.
I would imagine they've been cardboard/plastic for quite a few years now!

If it's enamelled it's likely copper.
Plain, then more likely brass.
