hi All, I dont know of this fitzgerald ppl.  Just on the subject of dowsing though, it seems pleanty of people can use it for finding water locate pipes and other things underground. Ive tried it one time to locate a copper pipe under a concrete slab. Simply using two brass rods.it gave an X marks the spot type reading when above the pipe. This was backed up with the pipe and cable locater I was using at the time,
the coper pipe was about 30 cm below concrete. this experiance leads me to beleive in the power of dowsing.
So perhaps rather than spending $$$ on the fitzerald, just go get some brass rods. Mite get the same results.

I can never find a schematic for the electroscope type LRLs.They are dowsing rods with electronics from what i hear. They claim so much treasure has been found. Many times findings are verified with a typical detector, so it could well be: map/history research, pure luck and a guessing game as well. Then they use the lucky/researched finds to advertise and claim their product is worth $1200 for a gloryfied dowsing rod!

yea LRLs sound too good to be true. If it worked well it would be the Thunting tool of choice. Perhaps some day there will be a lRl that actually works. Wouldnt that be nice Cool

Hi,
Ive taken an electroscope apart for a guy who wanted me to "Fix it" as it didn't work (!).
All i found electronics wise was a cheap "oscillator" circuit.
Presumably all this circuit was there for was to eventually flatten the batteries to confince the hapless owner that "something was happening"  :Smiley :Smiley :Smiley
