lol, besides you may have a special delivery tomorrow by Karl's UPS driver!  Grin

Now that will get get your bones up bright & early...haha

I think I've got a old Whites Goldmaster that still sounds off well with tiny nuggets, it's just the thing is so darn heavy and large of a box that it got retired in its prime. (We'll be doing this till we die Homefire)

Good hunting guys,
Jim

If you started with a BFO and continued in the hobby, you are a REAL THer. They were a real lesson in futility. I loved the hobby and suffered on untile better technology emerged. TR discriminaters were a giant step in the right direction. I have a 25 year old White that I can still rely on if need be.

Hey Digger, BFO units weren't entirely lessons in Futility.  Both Homefire and I got great finds right off the bat with our old Crusaders!  I don't know how P-Jim did with his, but I continued to make good finds until I moved up to a TR machine.  Of course, like I said, I dug a lot of junk between finds, too.

And by the way P-Jim, I noticed one of your headlines says, "we're still under 50...  Speak for yourself, I'll be 65 this summer!

Cool, Karl!  We have three that are all related.  We have Daddy Dog and two of his daughters.  Daddy, btw, is the real "ArfieBoy."  You can see him with me in my picture.  He is almost 8 1/2.  The oldest daughter is 7 and the youngest will be 7 the end of July.  We bred 5 litters and kept just the oldest girl.   The youngest one we sold to a nice family, but she ended up in the local pound.  I rescued her and brought her home to live forever.  Unfortunately Momma Dog developed Lymphoma and we had to put her down a little over a year ago.

I have enjoyed them a lot over the years!

So,  I guess you can't be all bad, like some people seem to think, if you have Bassett Hounds!

Both are bassets are rescues so are all 3 cats, the two big dogs the newfie and bermese mtn dog are pure breeds.
before when we had the farm going everything was a rescue from the chickens to the turkeys, rabbits, pea fowl , goats etc etc....

it was fun while i was still able to take care of them all.
