I have a whites Prism III and once in awhile I do some archery. Some friends of mine, they say have tips made of iron or something but my Prism will not pick up their signal. So whats the scoop? Anyone have any suggestions?

Modern tips are made of titanium for toughness. Titanium has physical properties that make surface eddy currents very small. Current does not flow through them very well so they are very hard to detect.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
