This one is for some old timers.  There was a site....long ago... that had hints on detecting for caches inside homes.  Where the best places to start the search etc... It was very specific and full of GREAT information.

I loved this site, but lost the link ages ago. Any idea of what I am talking about?

They have a very Google-like search engine that displays archived web sites from decades ago.

Can't help with the web link but in Terry's book "The Search for Treasure #5" he has a very good Chapter about how to search abandoned houses

I found what I was looking for, kind of. It is E Earl Webb's Treasure Secrets.com. Problem is thay the site is not fully operational and no links to the specific archive (or any archives for that matter). He does mention that he is working on a book and hopes to have it released by 2011.

On the research page I gave you above, there is a section called the WayBack Machine where you can see web pages as they were years ago. This is what you are looking for. Enjoy.
