Hello all,
I am a total newbie to metal detecting.  After much research I just bought a Minelab X-Terra 505.  I have read the manual cover to cover and watched a bunch of Youtube videos on it.  My question to the more experienced metaldetectorist's out there is;  Are the standard factory settings a good place to start ?  My thought is there is no sense re-inventing the wheel.  I was wondering if someone, anyone has some settings that work well for them?
Thanks for any help.
Take care,
Willie
