Hi and Welcome Stevie,
If you're looking for a program for the explorer for beach I put one in the download area on here a while back.
If you have trouble finding it give me a p.m. and I can email it to you.
Love the area you are living!
Annual holiday always used to be to "Inch Strand".
Never thought of taking my detector as I was always under the impression that metal detecting was a major no go in Ireland.
Maybe I'm wrong but I was under the impression that you needed to be an Archeologist to even be allowed anywhere near a detector!

Well, the geologist tell us that we were completely under water a few times prior to the Grand Canyon being carved out.   And one of the dangers of being in the desert is if it ever does rain (especially in the mountains that drain into your area), you have to worry about flash floods.   The normally dry wash you're prospecting can go from a trickle to a wall of water coming down fast enough to sweep a lorrie away in a matter of just a few minutes.

Hi Stevie,
Yes, hope to come back at some time.
Used to stay in the cottages just above the hotel there.
Knew "Sammy" quite well, the Asian guy who used to run the beach cafe / restaurant.... wonder if he's still there?
Sadly, the last time we were there the cottage we were in was broken into (while we were sleeping!) and everything was stolen (Money, cards watches......... everything!).
Everyone knew who it was... (The "New" cleaners that they had employed that year) but nothing could be proven.
When I do get back over... I'll Bring the Minelab!
